Keystone Candle was born in 1977 in the basement of the home owned by Jeff and Cathy Brown. During this time, the Browns and Art and Jane Eccles (Cathy Brown's parents), already owned three gift shop retail outlets in the Harrisburg area.

Candles were always an important part of the retail outlet scene, but when oil prices skyrocketed, candles became expensive. Unsuccessful at locating sources for quality candles at affordable prices, the family decided to make their own. Other store owners visiting the family's retail shops saw the new candles on display and ordered them for their own stores. Keystone Candle was on its way!

Originally Keystone Candle offered hand made votive candles, taper candles, and pillar candles. Growing and diversifying through the years, the company has expanded its line to include all of the products shown here and more.
